Our cozy mountain cabin is situated a mere 4.5 miles away from Saluda, NC's delightful downtown area, which features several must-see attractions. These include the award-winning Purple Onion restaurant, the Pace General Store (NC's oldest continuously operating general store, founded in 1899), the oldest grocery store in NC known as the Thompson Grocery store, and the Wildflour Bakery, among other charming shops. The stunning Green River offers ample opportunities for tubing, rafting, kayaking, and fishing, while hiking enthusiasts can explore the gorgeous Pearson Falls. For a thrilling adventure, visitors can also try out The Gorge, a guided zip line tour. Cyclists and mountain bikers will also find a plethora of trails to explore in the surrounding area.

Where to go

Pearson's Falls

Located just outside the town of Saluda. It is a short and easy walk along the beautiful river to the falls. There is a $5 admission per person which supports the Tryon Garden Club, well worth it.
